The Watch Edit

Watch - Southern Collective Clothing

For a while now I've been talking about getting a watch, however I wasn't exactly sure what sort of style I wanted. I like to have things that you don't see everyone else wearing and although I wanted a unique watch, I had no idea where to look for one.
Then, Southern Collective Clothing appeared like my watch fairy godmother and I was very kindly sent my perfect watch! The atlas face gives it the unique feel I was looking for and the gorgeous white leather strap just looks amazing. It's quite a simplistic looking watch, however at the same time it's eye catching and in the few hours I've had it on I've had lots of compliments on it, so I would definitely recommend that you pay their website a visit and check out their other products!
Until next time

Casual Sundays

Jumper/Mom Jeans/Sunglasses - New Look
Bag - Topshop
Pumas - Office

I feel like over the past couple of days I've abandoned my blog, and on Thursday I'm going to Spain for 2 weeks so I definitely will feel like I've abandoned it!
Today's post is casual outfit which has all been purchased in the sales at some point in time. I do have some recent sale finds to put up but I need to get pictures of them first, so it shouldn't be too long until it's up. Anyway back to the outfit. The bag is a recent sale buy from Topshop, it should have been around £30 and I got it for £10, which I was rather pleased with as it's such a good quality bag and I've had lots of compliments on it already. My pumas were £22.50 in the Office sale and my Mom jeans and jumper were sale finds in New Look.
Have a good week, and I'd love to hear about your sale finds!
Until next time

Short Hair

Coat - Asos
Jeans - River Island
Top/Shoes - Primark
Necklace - New Look

I've had a hair cut and I LOVE it!! (Thank you Laura!)
I would be lying if I said I wasn't head over heels in love with this coat! I've had it a while now and I'm certainly getting my wear out of it. It's just such an amazing coat that brightens up any outfit and is perfect all year round.
Today I've teamed it with my River Island boyfriend jeans (something else that I don't wear enough!), my gorgeous pink Primark court shoes and a statement necklace from New Look. I wasn't too sure about this outfit to begin with but it really has grown on me and I really like the way it's quite casual but looks smart at the same time. I wish I could wear outfits like this out everyday!
Hope you're all having a good week!
Until next time

The Scarf Edit

My name is Gemma and I'm addicted to scarves.
There we go I admitted it! The first step of recovery is done!
Now anyone who knows me will know that I LOVE scarves, they just have the ability to transform an outfit from plain to exciting.
Today I'm going to share a small selection from my summer scarf collection (a couple are my mums) so this post may be a bit photo heavy (sorry!)
I well over 50 scarves and it's been a while since I organised and counted them as it's not a 5 minute job! I'm not sure what it was that initially got me into scarves however I seem to buy one from nearly everywhere I go and presents from me tend to come in the form of a scarf! A lot of my scarves have come from markets, shows and independent shops as I love having things that not everyone else has, although I am a sucker for a £4 Primark scarf.
So as I said here are a few of my summer scarves and when the weather turns a bit colder I will do a winter scarf post as I have recently picked up a few winter scarves in the sales that are on at the moment!
Until next time

P.S. Please feel free to leave comments on my posts, give me a follow on Bloglovin and spread the word about my blog! Thanks!

Closet

Good evening, I hope you all had a lovely relaxing weekend and didn't suffer with the Monday morning blues too much this morning!
My weekend was spent working and celebrating my brother and sisters birthday (which is today, so Happy 16th Birthday twins!)
Today's post is about the London based clothing brand Closet , which I have only very recently discovered myself. If, like many others your summer is full of dressy events, or if, like me, you just fancy treating yourself to something new I would really recommend that you head over to Closet. I could so easily spend a fortune on there, however I am currently trying to be good and limit myself! Here's a little preview of some of their gorgeous summer pieces perfect for any occasion (my personal favourite being the jumpsuit).
So what are you waiting for? Head over to http://www.closetclothing.co.uk/ and if you still need persuading they currently have a Summer sale on!
Until next time

Dress - Sheinside
Shoes - Primark

Just a quick outfit post today before I head off to work. This is possibly one of the comfiest dresses I own! It's so easy to wear and looks a lot more expensive than its £10 price tag. If you haven't already discovered Sheinside you are missing out on some amazing bargains! So what are you waiting for... head over to http://www.sheinside.com/ and grab the bargains!
Anyway it's time for work, have a great weekend!

All White With A Hint Of Prom

Jacket, Shoes, T-Shirt - Primark
Jeans - New Look
Bag - Dorothy Perkins (similar here)

There's just something really satisfying about wearing an all white outfit. I think it just looks so clean and summery. These are actually the first pair of white jeans I've ever owned and it took me a while to find a pair I felt comfortable in and that weren't too see through. Usually I go for super skinny jeans however the super skinny white jeans were really unflattering so I went for the New Look skinny jeans.
I paired it with my bargain white biker jacket and jelly shoes from Primark and my £10 sale bag from Dorothy Perkins.
Whilst I'm here I thought I'd share a few photos of my brother and sisters prom which was last night. They both looked amazing and I can't believe how grown up they look! Watching them get ready made me want to go back to my Year 11 prom!
Until next time

Bag A Bargain...NOW!

Now, if you're anything like me you spend your winter longing for sunshine and hot weather, and when summer arrives you don't spear winter a second thought. Well unless it's because you've found some amazing winter coats in the sales and you just can't leave them, right?!
The sales are beginning as you read this and now is the time to bear winter in mind and bag your winter coat for a fraction of what you would normally pay.
Last week i bagged my bargain of the YEAR! Last winter I had my eye on Warehouse's Five Way Biker Coat, however the £140 price tag was not something I could justify, so when I spotted it in the sales for a tiny £25 (yes you read that right £25) + 10% student discount making it £22.50, for essentially 5 jackets, I just couldn't leave it!
Here is the amazing Five Way Biker Coat and some of my other bargain coats that I've picked up ready for the cold winter months.
Have you found any amazing bargains recently?
Happy Sales Shopping!
Until next time
